With October arriving, we greet a new season – FALL – and the sharp change in temperatures. Summer heat has turned to the coolness of the fall season and the trees are glorified in their bright colors. The Ryder Cup matches at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota sponsored by Mercedes-Benz were a great success! The U.S. team took back the cup in great style on an exciting and gorgeous Sunday in Minnesota. Thousands of people filled the beautiful course for the six days of the tournament. It was truly a small city to itself. Minnesota should be proud as was Mercedes-Benz to host such an exciting event for the world of golf. We will all long remember those days.

We want to thank everyone who turned out September 24th for our Annual Mercedes-Benz Open Haus Event. We had a great turn out. We trust that everyone enjoyed the District Fresh Kitchen food and a good time was had by all! We were happy to raise funds for “Tee It Up for the Troops” as well as distribute many raffle prizes.
This year we have partnered up with Cornerstone – a nonprofit agency that serves adults and children who have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence and/or human trafficking. Every year for the holidays, Cornerstone hosts Holiday Shop for the families they serve. Stocked with goodies, Holiday Shop gives kids from abusive homes the opportunity to shop for gifts for their parents and siblings. They get to experience the joy of giving by picking out and wrapping presents for their family. Please help us for through the month of November with the collection new and unused gifts, gift wrapping materials and gift cards for use by Cornerstone beneficiaries. You can learn more at cornerstonemn.org.
